SPRIBE, the studio behind the worlds leading crash game Aviator, has revealed the technical infrastructure supporting 77 million monthly active users. The system processes up to 400,000 bets per minute through a sophisticated AWS hybrid-edge architecture.
The technical demands of crash games differ fundamentally from traditional slots. While slot players spin in isolation, crash games require synchronized real-time experiences for thousands of simultaneous users. A 150 millisecond lag can destroy player trust and create support headaches.
To achieve resilience, SPRIBE migrated its entire infrastructure to Amazon Web Services in a four-hour transition. The auto-scaling architecture automatically spins up hundreds of additional compute instances during traffic surges, then scales down to save costs when demand drops.
Latency reduction plays a critical role in player satisfaction. Data traveling from Sao Paulo to London takes roughly 200 milliseconds, well above the human perception threshold of 100 milliseconds. SPRIBE solved this by deploying AWS Local Zones and Edge Locations in key markets including Brazil, India, and South Africa.
This geographic distribution reduces ping times from over 200 milliseconds to below 50 milliseconds. Every player in a region sees the plane fly away at the exact same millisecond, maintaining game integrity.
The Aviator platform also addresses emerging market constraints. The lightweight design consumes minimal bandwidth and performs reliably on low-end Android devices and 3G networks prevalent in regions like Sub-Saharan Africa and rural India.
Provable fairness comes through a cryptographic combined seed mechanic. Round results combine the server seed with seeds from the first three players placing bets. This mathematical approach prevents house manipulation while reducing rigged game complaints.
The platform maintains 99.9% uptime even during major sporting events when second-screen betting peaks.
