CHIPS Charity, the organization on track to deliver its 800th wheelchair in 2026, has been named the official charity partner of this year’s iGB L!VE event in London. This landmark partnership aims to raise vital funds for young people who lack access to powered wheelchairs due to financial or eligibility barriers.

Founded within the land-based gambling industry, CHIPS Charity provides bespoke wheelchairs tailored to the unique physiological needs of each recipient. These specialized chairs, which can cost up to £9,000, offer life-changing mobility and independence to children whose families cannot afford or access them through traditional channels.

Linda Lindsay, co-founder of CHIPS Charity, expressed her excitement about the partnership with WorldGaming (formerly Clarion Gaming):

“I have seen the strain and stress that parents experience when they learn their child doesn’t qualify for a powered wheelchair. The qualification tests can be extremely cruel, and in some cases, children who can walk only a few meters are deemed ineligible—even though they quickly struggle beyond that short distance. This is why CHIPS fulfills such an important role.”

She added:

“There’s no doubt that CHIPS chairs transform lives, providing youngsters with the freedom and independence that so many of us take for granted. Founded by colleagues in the land-based casino sector, I’m thrilled to introduce our work and vision to iGaming professionals at iGB L!VE.”

WorldGaming will launch a series of activations during the event to raise awareness about CHIPS Charity among the international iGaming community. The iGB L!VE event, known for showcasing cutting-edge technologies and fostering high-level networking, attracted a record 20,227 attendees in 2025—16% more than the previous year—and featured participants from 149 countries, up from 131 in 2024.

This partnership underscores the iGaming industry’s commitment to social responsibility while leveraging the event’s global reach to amplify the charity’s mission.
