OLG Launches Bede Gaming React Native App

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has taken a significant step forward in enhancing its mobile iGaming experience by launching a new app powered by Bede Gaming’s React Native technology. This move comes as OLG continues to solidify its position in Ontario’s highly competitive regulated market, which now features just 47 licensed private operators alongside its own Proline platform.

Ontario’s regulated iGaming market stands out globally for its ability to contain the grey market, with only 19% of estimated revenue coming from unlicensed operators—far below the national average of 66%, according to Blask market research. This competitive environment has pushed OLG to innovate, and the new Bede Gaming app represents a key upgrade to its mobile offering.

The React Native app is designed for seamless omnichannel performance, ensuring smooth gameplay even during peak traffic periods. This technological advancement aligns with OLG’s focus on delivering personalized and intuitive experiences to retain players in a market where competition is fierce.
