Polymarket introduces deposit limits and self-exclusion tools to enhance trader safety and financial control on its prediction market platform.

Polymarket, the high-profile prediction market platform, is rolling out new responsible trading tools to enhance user safety and financial protection. The move includes deposit limits, self-exclusion options, and a dedicated Trust & Safety Center to educate traders on best practices.

The newly launched Trust & Safety Center consolidates resources on trading rules, customer protection, and platform guidelines. According to the company, it will cover community guidelines, content moderation, and market integrity across both U.S. and international platforms, including Squads, profiles, and the Polymarket Discord.
“The center will bring together information on user protections, market integrity, and other Trust & Safety initiatives across Polymarket’s U.S. and international platforms,” the company stated.
Polymarket is introducing deposit limits and self-exclusion tools to help traders manage their activity. Users can now set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps across all funding methods, including Apple Pay, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and cryptocurrency. Adjusting limits requires a cooling-off period, except for reductions, which take effect immediately.
Self-exclusion options range from temporary cooling-off periods to lifetime bans, giving traders full control over their participation.
“These tools give users greater control over their activity on Polymarket. Traders can voluntarily exclude themselves from the platform for periods ranging from 30 days to one year to a lifetime,” the company explained.
Recognizing concerns about the mental health impact of trading, Polymarket has partnered with Birches Health, a leading provider of addiction treatment services. The collaboration offers traders access to clinical assessments, recovery plans, and virtual care across all 50 states.
Additionally, Polymarket is developing educational materials, including a co-branded Trading Responsibly guide. The guide features a four-question self-check to help users identify when to seek further support.
“Polymarket is also developing educational materials to help participants better understand responsible trading and the tools available to manage their activity,” the company concluded.
