BetWright renews Norwich City FC partnership for 2026/27, featuring expanded kit and stadium branding, including back-of-shorts sponsorship.

BetWright has renewed its partnership with Norwich City FC, securing its status as a Principal Partner and official Men’s Back-of-Shorts sponsor for the upcoming 2026/27 season. The agreement builds on the previous year’s collaboration, with the BetWright logo set to remain prominently displayed on the back of the men’s first-team shorts.
The expanded deal also includes continued branding across Norwich City’s partner ecosystem, featuring placements in the club’s partner section, dedicated social media activations, and advertising boards at Carrow Road. Notably, the package now incorporates two permanent advertising boards on the City Stand, positioned within the TV arc, ensuring high visibility during domestic matches across the Championship and cup competitions.
Ed Turnham, Commercial Director at Norwich City FC, expressed enthusiasm for the renewal. “We’re pleased to extend our partnership with BetWright ahead of the 2026/27 season,” he said. “The relationship has grown considerably during our first season together, and we’re excited to continue building on that success. We look forward to seeing the BetWright logo on our men’s first-team kit again, as well as supporting our purpose-driven mission.”
Yarry Troshchey, Chief Marketing Officer at BetWright, highlighted the brand’s commitment to deepening its connection with Norwich City fans. “Year one was about introducing ourselves to the Canaries faithful,” he explained. “Year two is about building on it. We’ve learned a lot about what resonates with this fanbase, and we’ve got bigger plans for the season ahead—on the community side especially. Norwich is a club that gives back to its city, and we want our partnership to reflect that on and off the pitch.”
This renewal follows BetWright’s broader football sponsorship strategy, including its naming rights deal for Leyton Orient’s Brisbane Road, now branded as the BetWright Stadium. The expanded partnership underscores BetWright’s growing presence in English football, combining on-pitch visibility with community-focused initiatives that align with Norwich City’s values.
For the iGaming industry, this deal highlights the increasing importance of football sponsorships in brand visibility and fan engagement. Such partnerships not only enhance a brand’s reputation but also create opportunities for innovative marketing activations that resonate with sports fans worldwide.
