Jaime ‘Craime’ Bustos, a 15-year-old sensation from Team Falcons, has made history by winning Street Fighter 6 at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris on August 1. The victory not only secured him the title but also cemented his place as the youngest champion in the tournament’s history, at just 15 years, 2 months, and 25 days old.

Bustos defeated Japan’s Hibiki in a thrilling 5-2 grand final match, overcoming a challenging journey that began with a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) run. Hibiki, who was the oldest player in the top eight at 30 years old, advanced from a field of 269 competitors to reach the main event.

En route to the championship, Bustos showcased his skill by dropping only a single game in the group stages before navigating through the bracket with precision. His dominance continued as he defeated Saul Leonardo ‘MenaRD’ Mena II, the winner of EVO 2026, in the quarterfinals with a 5-3 victory. He then eliminated Eisuke ‘Yamaguchi’ Yamaguchi, the champion of EVO Japan 2026, in the semifinals.

With this historic win, Bustos earned a prize of $250,000, secured a spot at Capcom Cup 13, and accumulated 1,000 Club Championship points for Team Falcons. The victory propelled the team to the top of the Club Championship standings as of Saturday.
