FIRST.bet powers BetVip’s Brazil expansion with advanced sportsbook tech, enhancing local market dominance and player experience.

FIRST.bet, the Bulgarian betting technology provider, is deepening its presence in Brazil through a strategic partnership with BetVip, a leading local brand navigating the country’s fiercely competitive gaming landscape. The collaboration sees BetVip leveraging FIRST.bet’s advanced sportsbook platform, including its pricing and trading capabilities, to enhance its offerings.
BetVip’s transition to FIRST.bet follows the conclusion of its previous supplier agreement. The rollout is being executed through the platform of Cactus Gaming, a prominent Brazilian sports betting technology company, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
With Brazil’s regulatory framework under the ‘Bets’ regime now fully operational since January 2025, maintaining a robust technological infrastructure is critical for operators. The past 18 months have seen a surge of international brands entering the market, including Flutter Entertainment, BetMGM, bet365, and Betano, intensifying competition.
Both BetVip and FIRST.bet emphasize that cultural alignment and local relevance are key to success in Brazil. BetVip’s deep-rooted connection with Brazilian players has been a defining factor in its growth, and FIRST.bet’s technology is designed to further strengthen this bond.
Nathanael Alves Bezerra, Chief Executive Officer of BetVip, highlighted the brand’s commitment to excellence: “BetVip is one of the biggest names in Brazilian betting, and we did not get here by settling. Our players expect the best sportsbook in the market, and moving to FIRST.bet was how we made sure they had it. Ever since the move, the performance has spoken for itself.”
For FIRST.bet, this deal marks another milestone in its international expansion strategy, particularly in Latin America. The company has recently partnered with Atlaslive for a region-focused initiative and is also supporting ADI Predictstreet in its expansion efforts across the region, including its role as a commercial partner for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Tom Light, Founder and CEO of FIRST.bet, reflected on the partnership: “BetVip knew exactly what it wanted from its sportsbook and made a deliberate decision to move. For a brand of this scale, changing sportsbook is a major decision. They trusted FIRST.bet to deliver a better product and execute the migration properly. We did both.”
This collaboration underscores FIRST.bet’s growing influence in Latin America, where its innovative technology and focus on operator success are driving significant industry momentum.
